Ms. Michelle French Cantor

Michelle French comes to us from St. Jude’s in Norfolk, St. Edward’s in Medfield, St. Bartholomew’s in Needham and St. Michael’s in Hudson where she was cantor and organist. Pre-pandemic, she was at St. Margaret Mary’s in Westwood where she conducted the Adult Choir, cantored and accompanied the congregation. Michelle has selected music and prepared Adult Choirs to perform “Lessons and Carols” programs. She was at St. Mary’s in Holliston for 14 years as soprano soloist, section leader and principal cantor. Michelle holds a Masters degree in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. Her undergraduate degree is from Samford University, a private Baptist college in Birmingham Alabama. Michelle teaches voice and piano.

Ms. Allyson Cahill Organist

Allyson comes to St. John’s from Centralville UMC in Lowell and St. William’s Catholic Church in Tewksbury, where she served as a pianist and organist, and she is thrilled to be part of the music ministry at St. John’s. She has been an accompanist of choirs and soloists for over 10 years as a student and a professional. She is also serving as the accompanist for Cantilena Women’s Choir in Arlington, MA. Allyson is currently finishing her undergraduate degree in Sound Recording Technology at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
